So I read in some comments that it is now unsafe to go to Providence. I didn't see anything in the main post but I'm assuming it's something to do with witchcraft. Can someone fill me in on that? I don't wanna be wandering around town and then an hour later punching myself in the face uncontrollably.

the games already tedious "chores" were made significantly slower, the tick rate was simply changed to mask that.

you "might" be able to attain similar levels to what you had before if you have a near perfect slotted setup with end game ****, which most of you never will.

see my signature for reference.

after some time now i prefer to see a progress on tasks with more ticks 20%, 40% 60%...

50% then 100% just does not feel right

There may be an argument to avoid 50% ticks. Then again, 50% ticks are only achievable when you are using the most efficient or highest tool available.

I was digging soil the other day and it seemed like I wasn't making progress, it may have been lag though, it would say 0%, 50% and 100%, but quite a long time between ticks. Can the client not get an update every x number of seconds on how progressed we are, rather than when we are x progressed. So we would see the counter increase much more smoothly, I dunno about the network code though.

Ambitious Excavation. How does it work now? Previously it accelerates digging three times from 5% to 15%. But I just now noticed that a character without this skill also digs at 15% per tick.

Cannot replicate. My character without Ambitious Excavation digs @ 5%.
