The good news, is you just got yourself a bug hat. I just looked, and Devil'd beaver is a stage 1 food restore with Stage 2 glutton values. Typo on our part.

Started actually finding crawdads/oysters in traps after a while of not checking, take it it got fixed that they get used as bait? :)

No, I think you got lucky, although it will be fixed in next patch.

John has no house, car and dog anymore, he had to sell all of it to buy Salem. I'd say its worthwhile, man I would do even worse things to troll people like he does.
