Just my client crashed shortly towards the end with an error being reported. Relog made me spawn in my Homestead and I was not in my Seat anymore. You can see my Char in this screenshot
2nd row, without hat and black hair.
Hope you can verify that. If not, that would be sad, but I have no use for the thorns yet anyway.

A couple of you may have not gotten a flower due to porting away or crashes or other confusions, and I'm sorry about that, but it was almost impossible to tell when someone really did miss getting one and when they just wanted to scam an extra one. 
On the bright side though, we plan to do an event every month so you'll get a chance again soon.
