The mere fact that you can "Double" your power with the existing system is probably too much, but I have no immediately plans on nerfing it yet.

I did not say you should bring the old system back. I said you should make changes the this one, I'm not sure what changes would be the best, yet you should think about this.
For now purity is only time based (there may be one or two exceptions but leave them for now), so for newer players it seems impossible to catch up with the others.
I say there should be more ways to increase purity, like you could bring back the old Alchemy skill mechanics, or give some random purity back to the foraged goods.
And most of all extend the effect of purity to other things like it was before. Like inspirationals and such so we couldn't just avoid purity, it would be in every aspect of the game.
One of the best things in the old system was the four different kind of purities, it was so deep. You could at least think about some ideas to give back some of it.

No

Considering that most purity items are on sale in stalls for reasonable prices and as high as 50%+ I don't think new players will have any problems whatsoever catching up. For farming it mostly comes down to using lots of coal and mining is just brute force. If you've got the silver and the will then there's always a way. I do agree that purity should be fine tuned to include items that still have it but don't use it. Maybe jsut remove it outright from inspirationals and such things. Trying to balance the game around the 10x multiplier is just a waste of time, though.

I agree on Alchemy expansion. I love alchemy and in a game like Salem it fit so well.
Now we just need a philosopher's stone as a goal...
Omg I wish something like Fullmetal alchemist will make it here, as a part of witchcraft or what ever.
You thought I quit.

Re: salemwiki.info

The only reason it is out of date is because you people don't update it. That is literally the point of a wiki, anyone can create an account an edit the thing. The only page that is not editable is the frontpage, and I am happy to instill some upstanding forum citizens with admin rights on that page.

Exactly. It just needs to be updated

Ain't nobody got time for dat!

You realize the tribe wiki was copy-pasted from the original wiki hosted by Sabinati, right?

Always happy to help if people want to make submissions.

I still say best option is an officially hosted one that can be edited by contributing players.
I am a moderator. I moderate stuff. When I do, I write in this color.

are you volunteering for admin rights?

why should the developers spend any time working on a wiki? we have one that works, that doesn't have any accessibility issues, that anyone can edit.

I think most people complain about tribe wiki bc they know JC owns it - so he should host it better since he is game owner after all.
