If a new player doesn't have smokers they are forced to learn how to actually glutton. I represent one of the people that only experienced the meat life and I wish that I had had the prior gluttony experience of some of the other players that were forced to actually learn the system. I am continuely reminded that every hardship I face in the new world will make me a better and more competitive player in the end.

While its probably not all that useful for end game characters its is still very good, you just want to mix multiple types of food together now rather than just glutting large piles of meat. Also its takes practically no work to use once you have it built so it could make decent food to sell to noobs if you no longer need it.

Frost flowers aren't actual flowers http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frost_flower I'm not sure why they've decided to call them fickle, I'd thought they would melt, or have adjusting stats.
