if they nerf the work i have put into my existing characters in any way i will be sure to reconcentrate my efforts on killing every whiney newb like those of you in this thread on the server instead of grinding tree purity.

Capping stats means nothing if someone has tons of food stockpiled at max purity

It does.

It just doesn't solve the whole problem of powerful established players. I think that's what you meant.

Making people be at most, way stronger but not exponentially stronger than noobs is different from letting people be as said earlier "Gods".
A full strength character will still beat noobs like rented mules, but the game does change significantly if people are capped to much lower max stats.

I see frogs are still impure... If I studied Theology perhaps I could understand why?

by your logic nothing is changed. advanced characters will still rape noobs. why even put the effort to destroy others hard work?

While this is true, and is a matter that Jorb and I will surely come to discuss, I'm sure you're not actually suggesting that the proper solution to this problem be that alchemy remain retarded forever?

What we need is some sort of humor drain on people over 100 humors. Say, you lose 1 humor per real time day for every humor you have over 100, then 2 humor a day for every humor you have over 200, 3 per day for 300, etc....

This would require that monster humor folk have to keep eating and keep playing. Eventually if they go on vacation for a week or two, they dropped 40 humors. It's the only way for the developers to keep it fair while also letting all the new players get there also. It would be a soft cap of 100.
