Technically the KOer is not the murderer. The witch who caused the Blood Moon in the first place is to blamed :).

Im curious as to what the witch gains from people dieing during a blood moon they created.

I also hope they cannot happen too oftern, otherwise we could be in a state of a perma blood moon.

What do you gain from not having a blood moon?

Maybe you should test the mechanics of said blood moon and find out.

If scents drop at scene of death - some players will intentionally ko 5 biles alts to gather scents and hunt the witches down. So huge risk to doing this.

Imagine a blood moon appearing during a fight. That would easily create a bloodbath and if the group which unveil the blood moon had the advantage then it could potentially give them an even greater edge. Add to that psychological warfare and you got yourself a Salem nuke.

Players are encouraged to do passive tasks or simply go watch youtube during a bloodmoon if they are not prepared to lose their character upon death. I cannot wait to harvest your tears here.

The Blood Moon will fade after a time, and can be followed by either a Cold Snap or an Everbloom.

So that noobs can know exactly how this works by reading it here:

How long exactly are these going to last?
Is there going to be drain involved?

This is going to hurt noobs more than veteran players. They're not going to know how it woks and they're much more likely to KO.

Nice to see that there wont be any more noobs playing, they will just quit when their character is gone.

I can only hope that devs thought of that and blood moon would not become active instantly but there would be a warning first.
