My mind set for a long time was to be an anti-criminal. This patch has deflated all hopes of mine and my village members in future industry changes. All passion and enthusiasm for the game has been wiped out and all that remains is our high biled fighters and super fortress HV's. If someone such as myself that has generally not been a 'PK' for over a dozen years in full loot / open world PvP games has decided '***** this let's kill/raid everyone because that's all that is left to do' then I can only imagine what the other strong factions are doing/planning now.

Are you retarded? Nobody is going to use their 400+ biles characters to attack a base with even moderate brazier fire. If people cant atleast try to protect their **** with the [now] overpowered defenses, then they deserved to be raided.

i agree with this.

While it would be nice to start fresh on an even playing ground, the game needs testers of various biles

Something no one really seems to have realized so far is that this was just one update. They're working on purity now, they're not done with it, surely.

The next few updates will probably contain more additions to purity which will make the grind a little more possible for everyone. Yeah, growing purity trees is going to take a lot of time and effort, but if we end up having a way to make reasonably pure clay in a couple weeks, it might not be so bad.

Personally, I'm a bit uneasy from this update because I can see where it has the potential to go horribly wrong. But, I'm going to reserve the tears for a few weeks and see what comes out of the next 2-3 updates. Maybe it'll end up being awesome.

I really hope you are right about the next few patches. I mean this as a legitimate question, was there something in particular that has led you to believe that the next few patches will in fact lessen the grind if not increase it or leave it the same?

I think some people aren't being honest with themselves. Should the servers get cleansed, would you really start playing so hardcore as to keep up with the most dedicated of players?

Yep.. Already been this change threw a giant wrench into our groups moral. So ***** the patch, only way to bring back the ones leaving is either wipe this **** or create another server. Sure there will be tweaking in the next few weeks but it will not even impact the game 1/10 of what this patch did.

Or the other option is that Jorb and Loftar will remove this feature. This has gotten way out of hand.

I believe the grind won't be as bad as we think it will after a few more patches because Jorb said 'this will make inroads to purity, expect more', so more will be added. And because he also said that the nodes are slight.

This says to me that unless they never intend us to get our crops over 10% again, which is silly, there will be additions like purity wells that go up to 100% eventually. Some way of refining clay and other materials used for pots to get the wood up closer to 100%. Right now, it's impossible to really get anywhere and I'm just such an optimist, I believe it'll get better, rather than worse.

You're right they probably won't until they get some decent farming going. What they'll do instead is hit small sized bases with little defense and range around 2 hitting anybody they find in the woods, and of course they'll always have the humour monsters for defense of their base.
