Alchemical values of local flora seem to have been changed as well, though I am not sure if the skills have anything to do with it. Grass that was 4% previously is now 3% with 38.00 Sulphur, but before it was 40.00 Salt. Why would one's skill level affect that? Is this an intended change or a bug? This implies a complete node randomization, which wouldn't really be required unless the bugfix required a very deep code change.

After checking Mining locations, Our lime nodes have dropped / changed elemental compositions big time also.

.Facepalm, GJ grinding / finding the locations of purity water / materials over the past 2 weeks, because all your time / effort just went up in smoke.

Water is the same

I am not sure that it is. A source near my patch has changed values. I'm a bit displeased with this change, as I had been under the working assumption that alchemical values might have been more fundamentally tied to each other - previously, all the values in my area were somewhat consistent with the values of the mines, so I thought there might be a food chain logic, with the values changing as one moved from mineral to plant to animal. It might just be completely random.

Just (within the last hour) picked up water from my usual spot, still 6%, didnt check the chem make up tho, and most flora/fauna seem to be about the same, been out in the last couple of hours refilling stock for worms, and found stuff I expected in the places I expected.. Im on Jamestown

With current systems inplace, purity would cap at 15~20% on a new server, with players being able to reach what would start to become a hard cap around 150~200 biles. Bases with 50 braziers and wooden walls, would be able to keep an army of these 200 biles players out, thus making raiding totally redundant under the new system of purity if we was on a new system.
.

This hard cap is why we need a wipe. If new players can only get to 200 biles with the same work it took to get to 400 biles, the world is unbalanced. Players far beyOnd 200 will be gods ruling the others indefinitly.

They dont have to. They use one of the 10 alts woth 200+ biles they created using high purity seeds. If u try and retaliate, who do u meet ready to destroy yer waste claim? His 400 bile dude. With those toons they can rape and pillage with impunity.

That does sound quite weird, and like a bug. I'll have to investigate that.

I think in the last patch you might have overdone it - instead of just getting the worms to eat the food in the boxes you have turned them into langoliers and they are consuming the entire server!

Okay just to confirm, Jamestown server- everything is the same including my closest lime mine (darn it) so maybe only some servers?
