I am happy there was a warning. Keep up with the insults, and next time he can just patch with no warning. Then he only has to deal with the complaints after, instead of before and after...hmm, I wonder which he will choose.

This. More warning than we've gotten on some other patches. Love how polarized everyone is about every single issue, makes the forums a joy to read.

nope

lol, "database". Sure, that's the language.

do you really fail to see that it is not worth the trouble? it will no longer be possible for us to have slotted belts. This is the change that is coming. You are offered the chance of recuperating artifacts out of existing belts. Rejoice and shut up.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

The backend is written in python iirc. :P

[Edit:] Love the sacks! Thank you, JC!

yeah the sacks are awesome. The server is, for performance reasons, written in C and C++, with a bit of assembler thrown in at critical points, as far as I am aware.

+10 for the sacks!

Also, i want to make sure that the belt thing is a final decision so i can proceed to un-slotting.

Thank you

it is, or JC wouldn't have risked the ***** by posting about it.

@JC: Now that I think about it, a ***** is probably an idea to replace the bloodmoon after the next extended downtime
