Fair enough Krusk, I agree that they're doing a good job with what they have. I like that they postponed the patch to give us a working addition to the game, and it's that kind of mini-bravery that they need to stick to. In this case, that bravery would be letting us know that it's still not working as intended and that we should expect it next week if that's the case :P I'm hoping that all this silence on their end just means they're trying to get it done asap, so we'll see how it all goes. Just sayin' though, if it'll be next week, or just not "later this week", let us know :P

Edit: In retrospect, Jorb did say "hopefully later this week", which is in no way a certain "by the end of sunday you shall have a patch!", so good luck getting it all working properly, I'll be patiently waiting till then :)

Thats a good point, and TBH I should be the last person complaining about someone missing a deadline. I do agree that they do the best with what they have, its just this business of half implementing something and then moving on, and not going back to add in the boring housekeeping bits which would tidy up and polish what they do have. If this new terraforming tool does something that effects game mechanics then thats great, but its getting back to the age old story of is there any rhyme or reason to their madness or do they say "I'm bored of making higher tier ingredients better so I'm not going to bother with pumpkins." or "We've implemented purity for most stuff but we can't be bothered to add it for Turkeys or wells." I realise that they might be planning something big regarding these features, animal husbandry for example. But it just seems they can't be bothered to work on that so they move onto something else which is really frustrating for the community. AGAIN, I'm one to talk, I do this all the time with most of my projects. The difference is, I'm not claiming to be a developer/studio.

What exactly makes a person a professional again?

When he said they clearly aren't very professional, that's the definition he was using. The other definitions don't need to be applicable.

And I agree, they aren't very professional. Promising things and not giving them, and then failing to even so much as give an excuse. Altering the game in harmful ways to benefit people they like. Ignoring attempts of testers to be helpful because they aren't favorites. Failing to tell anyone how a mechanic is supposed to work so that bugs and faulty mechanics hang around because no one knows what the hell is going on. Half implementing things and then abandoning them.

I am hoping we get a larger update on Thursday. I do not want to see their terraforming update coming any sooner than that because then we'll have to deal with more push-backs for the next update. I'll be fairly disappointed if we don't see a larger update with the alchemy pack included this Thursday though.

I half agree with that Coles :\ On the one hand I want them to keep some sort of regular schedule going, and a release at this point would probably delay the next release unless they've been working on two things side by side. On the other hand I am in withdrawal from not having anything new to tinker with :P But yeah, ultimately I'd just rather they do this patch right and not hurry it due to pressure, and then try to get back on the schedule in whatever manner they can pull that off. Keep up the good work Jorb and Loftar

Anybody that has been following the development of this game over the past year orso knows that the jorbtar doesnt operate with any kind of official deadlines.

The update will be done when its done.
