Mining bonus artifacts and pickaxe phlegm drain bonus now does not work. It is correct, or will fixed soon?

It is that simple! ;)
You can make the games rules however you want, too.

The thing you should have in mind most, as it is a game, is how players have fun, in the long run, and yes, this can mean to force them to do one thing to gain another, this can also mean to not do what the players want, as it would ruin the fun in the long term.

Still, I am not happy with things as they are now, and I am probably not the only one.

You're obviously very smart writing so much lines of text. I'm not even able to read all of that. ;)
But I don't get why is using gluttony bad. ;) In some games you are forced to kill monsters to gain a level. ;) Is that forcing and ruining the fun too?

Now you make me want to make a special hat for people who 'get it'.

Oh no, gluttony is a good thing! (honestly!)
And you really don't need to be smart to write many lines of text, only if you want to say something with those lines.

In salem, you are, too, forced to kill monsters to gain levels (at a certain point) or buy their parts for silver.

The whole point is:
Everyone wants to use tea, as it is so horribly overpowered, but you need to use gluttony sooner or later if you do that, not only on your main (who would use gluttony anyway) but also on your alts.
Meaning, you need to prepare some actually useful food (which is work, and consumes resources!) to use gluttony on your alts, whose stats you never intended to get higher than [insert any number here].
Damn, some people even think their mains have high enough stats, and think that all that work for getting them a few % higher is not worth it, how dare they?!

...it's late, I am a little drunk, let's discuss this tomorrow. ;)

Keep in mind. playing with multiple 'alts' is not intended.

If there was a 'button' that I could press that permakilled the smallest humor characters on every account and made sure that every 'real' player indeed had only 'one' character. I would press it. Unfortunately, there is just no reliable and reasonable way to do this, which is the ONLY reason you have alts. How you want to play these alts does not concern me.

Civ Mining may or may not go on the 'speed' of minign. As we are trying to make the civ artifices more than 'speed increases'.

No problem. There have been quite a few minipatchs so I can see how this would happen. We are also changing up quite a few things so we can get some good feedback and testing before hte mining patch.

In the upcoming patch I was most worried not about the complication of metal mining but what will happen to the existing mines. Ideally, I see the opportunity to continue mining ore from the old mines. because is built around a very expensive infrastructure.

ps: but I understand that it is possible to choose another way. In any case, I like how developing Salem now. ;)
