While I do love the patch I do have some concerns about the economical impact on the game. This patch has made it easier for old players to get silver, driving inflation which in turns drives up prices while new players will have an even harder time making money since tanning is now a lot more time consuming since water is so hard to carry. Perhaps adding a yoke for water carrying would solve this problem.

A new player could instead make cotton for money, which is now wayyy easier because you can do more at once

I know, but if you are new to the game barrels are not exactly cheap and 4 buckets of water weigh 20 kg even with a backpack. I'm not saying it's impossible only that producing lot's of leather is now a lot harder if your YB is low.

Your can place a barrel just beside the tanning bath.

no, he clearly does know how backpacks work now, he's saying it's difficult to carry them (buckets) at low yb.

although leather doesn't need to be your main source of income, there are many ways to raise silver more or less fast.

Consider building well and placing tanning tub there. This isn't that expensive considering dry boards are like 7s each now.
