use wild oats. One wild oat gives 30 hay :)
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

Anyway, the one part of this patch I don't like is the trial membership stuff.

Also, this is not how haystacks work :x

Care to explain? Or offer constructive criticism / alternatives beyond "i don't like".

I don't think it goes far enough. You still have to be very trusting of your citizens, it just gives you a short grace period. I was hoping for a system where you could make a big town that accepts casual players, and you simply can't have the required level of trust with those. IMO they should just add more permissions options to towns, like vandalism and party rights.

Do you still get the bonus for L&L on filling your claim? It seems like I don't get a bonus anymore or I just suck at calculating. Maybe you get more when it is closer to empty? So I am wondering if they took that out do to the exploit bug of filing up the claims for free.

Inotdead wrote:My haystack finished drying today. Tested it with simple autumn gras - apparently it converts 40 pieces of it into 40 hay and It takes something like 40 ish hours to do so, may be less.
As with turkey droppings - a good addition to farming to make it less tedious.

Turkey droppings are awesome for the lazy farmer now. o.O Not only is it an easy 5 upkeep, you get a little influence and speed bonus!

The haystack is something I need more info for in the wiki. I wonder if other ears of cereal give more than the puny .4 an ear of oats does.

John, it seems you said inspiration would not be reset to 0 anymore? Just loose a percent? It still resets to 0. Also I have found nothing in the logs as you stated they now spawn stuff such as their stump counter parts. I think a sample of 500 logs is large enough to say they don't spawn anything.

Logs are definitely spawning things. I found an Indian Feather in one next to my base yesterday. Maybe enough decay ticks just haven't hit yet to do a lot, because that was the only thing I've found so far.
