If this is only way I can do it myself. In any case, now it's a character with broken hat-slot.

no dude don't worry they are trolling you. you can just calm down and read the thread while waiting. after that, talk to the devs and they will remove your dunce hat :D
we illiterate hermits who know not about Aristotelian Logic could not easily find information about the PvP. They are covered in rich raiders' money and power, only to be discovered by the most willing hermits, who, after tasting the blood, turn into raiders themselves. They will then keep the secret from easy preys like us. Thus, for us low-level and know-not hermits, the system will be unknown.
There are still good people who will spit out a bit or two for us to defend. but usually, it's hardly enough.

Indeed Indeed!

Now, take the next step and fill that glass until it overflows with self-awareness. You will soon learn that the hat was a gift, not a curse. For the record, I was the FIRST of the dunce hat bearers who discovered this truth.

I suggest to anyone that wants more details about ANYTHING, but in this case, crime, to just do this :

Tutorial about finding informations
First, do this.

Then, do this.

Then you should find something like this. And other valuable informations.

Players may now Beat a KO’d pilgrim in a merciless show of aggravated assault. Committing such a crime will leave a summon able scent, in addition to breaking the bones of the Pilgrim before they are sent home.

Killing Blow will now permakill a player if it deals lethal damage, even if they are not KO.

Split Rail now requires more Wood Blocks to repair to full.
Stone Hedges are now repaired with Granite and require 10 Granite to repair fully.
Plank Walls require more Dry Boards to repair to full.
Brick Walls require fewer Bricks to repair to full.
Split Rail Gates now fully repair with a single Fresh Board.
Stone Hedge Gates now fully repair with a single Dry Board.
Plank Wall Gates now fully repair with a single Planed Board.
Brick Wall Gates now fully repair with a single Iron Bar.

[obsolete]
Battery no longer leaves a summonable scent.

Collecting a scent now provides 180 Minutes of Tracking.

Players who are KO’d by other players now lose proficiency points.

Bodies will no longer drop all the gear to the ground when decaying. If you want their gear you must larceny it.

That took me 5 minutes, tutorial included. You will successfully avoid getting a Dunce Hat. If you actually DO want a dunce hat, do not follow this tutoriel. Follow Pestilence's.

You're welcome.

Stop being a tool, Heffernana.

Cheena used that word 3 times in her post, and only once was it not the correct spelling.
It was clearly a typo. I'm all for precision but apply some common sense before calling people on such things.

(Sorry for off-topic, but some things just annoy me.)
