IMO, baking tables should have more slots that act as inventory that are not for dough, but a place where you store your water, sugar, flour etc, the way you would normal cook where you put everything on the table to work with.

I'm trying to plan my base at the moment but I have a huge problem. Braziers. Yes them again, cause I'm totally lost. Maybe this has been answered somewhere else and I didn't read, then I'm sorry. But still :

Brazier Range has been significantly nerfed down to 11 tiles in each direction not counting the Brazier itself.

So. That means that for having a line covered by braziers we need to place them each 21-22 tiles. BUT. What is their nerf range ? Was it changed too ?
And so. Was is done that torch posts don't nerf braziers anymore or does it ?
And finally : I don't remember having seen brazier's damages in a long time, is it possible for you to give us the damage table please ?

No, it should be closer. With 21 tiles circles from 2 braziers will be barely touching. They should overlap to make sure they cover some ground in front of the walls too.

Finally got an advanced cooking. All of these recipes require rare ingredients like agropelter's or even golden eggs, jellyfish or majestic acorn. To have all of these ingredients I should spend on their search for many hours every day. Taking into account the need to work in the fields with pots and iron for the butcher's knife we get 8-9 hours a day on food production. It turns out that the game will be dominated by only those who can spend on it all their free time every day, but for everyone else will remain only the role of victims. Are you planning any further changes to reduce the time spent in the game or the player with 12 hours online will always be stronger than a player with 4 hours online?

read this post with regards to the high-end recipes:

Edit again : While you're here, I've heard that the system where gluttony points over 10 yields 2 points and over 20 yields 3, was only a thing until a char reaches 20 humours. I have the impression that this shouldn't be the case, but haven't had a chance to try it on an intermediate alt, and still wrestling with the multitude or recipes to get 10+ on the main. So is it a mechanic that works at any humour level as i think it is?

This should certainly not be the case. It should apply for all humors. Although, in our testing, I was only able to get 10 points in a session up to about 800 To All Humors. That was with purity and Stage 3 Foods. Stage 3 foods are not exactly the 'best' to make nor are they designed for the casual as they are for making 'titans' or using rare mats you otherwise don't have a need for. So if you concede to making the staple foods you will see 10 String-sessions stop around 400 to all Humors. Then without Aether of course that buckles quickly down to 200 to all.

So Again, our "intended" progression in testing was:

10 points a Session stops you @ 200 to all without Aether.
10 points a Session stops around 400 to all WITH Aether.
10 points a session stops around 800 to all With Aether and crazy person who is willing to make the advanced cooking recipes.

Hope that helps.
I have neither the crayons nor the time to explain it to you.

The players who spend more time playing (and have been playing for longer) are always going to be stronger. I would agree that this patch will widen the gap though.

I'm not entirely sure that it will widen the gap as much as you people seem to be thinking. Even for the guys that are online all day, the end-tier foods are not plausible: try gathering huge quantities of golden eggs or bear hearts.

And then again, I don't want this to turn into a game where everything gets nerfed into oblivion because of the "casual". During the week, I have an hour a day to play at best - during the weekends that's a couple of hours on average. I stand no chance to compete with the biddas'es of this server, and I am completely fine with that.

I want to play a game where the guy that plays most has the biggest advantage. Even if that guys is not me. You know, a real game.

I understand, but I also understand that when I get the 400 bile, top players with lots of free time will have 1000 +. And I'm playing from the beginning of the world, the newcomers will have only 5. We all saw what it led on Plymouth and other servers, when groups of strong players just killed all the others. What will be when it happens on Providence? Wipe it again?

The fact of the matter is that if tribe and darwoth had to resort to zerging titans the caliber of Biddas, with the skill of Darwoth, they would probably still pull it off. So by reversing the hypothetical roles you can see that it's less an issue of titans and more an issue of lack of coordination on other people's part. If you think biles should matter more in combat than they do now, there's a suggestion thread open that JC is monitoring to help balance the PvP patch when it comes.
Exactly 6.022 x 10^23 worth of Lach molecules.
