Yeah, it takes 2 months to get, and 2 minutes for someone to destroy it.

Just as it took you 2 months to make it, it took those raiders quite a bit of development and time investment too.

Anybody who thinks it takes 2 minutes to do a raid is just looking for an excuse to complain/quit.

oh BTW i found a base that has been leveled in the last month:


had a windmill in the bottom right coner, ovens in the bottom middle, a house in the bottom left and just above the house a row of smelters... and in the middle a bunch of leantos... oh and turkey coops and drying racks on the middle right part.

every thing is gone... not a single building left standing.... this is what i was talking about earlyer.
people go in and destroy every thing... they don't just loot you and you recover... they level your whole base and you have to start completely over.

What server was this on? And the better question.... What did this person do to deserve this? In my experience 99%+ of people who had their bases wiped out did something to deserve it.

People have no idea what it takes to completely obliterate a base while under a v-or p-claim

The braziers are full, which means base was destroyed when there was no active vclaim / pclaim. Destroying place like this is in fact easy

I think that the idea of "level" a base in 5minutes, is one of the lies that have around salem from quite a time, most players dont realize the amount of time( hours of running like a ***** to take the debuff off)/risk(crash/criticals of braziers/etc) that implies to raid a pclaim and even more a vclaim, this with more % of been defended is almost imposible to raid unless the defenders dont know what they are doing or have crap bases designs, and it becomes raiding has a profession an unprofit one unless you are doing it for destroy another faction or criminals.

This is one of the lies that has been repeting and repeting, like the ones that says " you cant have titan characters anymore", " the defences are craps, they need a buff", and stuff like that, which make most of the player belive that crap the instant they read it, instead of having them try on their own.

Then it calls "decay", someone enter that place, took what he could and leave the place like that.
