Wouldn't that be A Tale in the Desert? All crafting all of the time.

Ah, but it's not all crafting all the time - there's a lifetime of petty squabbles and regional politics. As well as hours and hours of mindless cicada hunting and herb foraging.

And this:

seems to be all too frequent in that game. Population at the start of a new telling starts off higher, but by the end, it's down to half.

Also: griefers you can't do anything about other than complain to the demi-pharoah who you can only hope will be able and willing to ban them.

Read a bit of recent topics on this thread.

People divide in 2 main groups in this game.

- Those who don't want PVP - People who look for more social life and want to Craft - wasn't this game suppoused to be about this?
- Those who want PVP and are 100% sure that those who don't want PVP, really want it. - Mostly griefers with PeePooKaka at the front, who want to make people play PVP even if they dont want to, so they can kill them and feel suuuuper.

Can't really understand people, who think they know better what other want and need.
You cannot trust anyone in this game = you can't create any thriving city/society = you only run and watch your back in this game.

It's so damn simple.... and most of people don't want to udnerstand it.

Simply: Those who want PVP and dont want PVE servers are afraid that most players would go to PVE servers and their life would lose its meaning - cause they would not have anyone to grief on.

You are wrong, the 2 groups are.

1. People who want a open world sandbox thats ran 100% by players

2. Cry babies who want to play 3d farmville

PvP is way 2 easy to avoid. PvE servers will never happen. GET OVER IT

Since February its not my problem anymore. I gave everything of my goods to Trojanz (R.I.P) and just coming here sometimes reading :) Throwing few words in.

You don't want crybabies? You want play alone? You got it! I trully hope you're happy about that game state.

Even developers seem to have forgotten about this game anymore.

He is 100% right. In these types of debates/conversations it is usually the trolls who will fight to the bitter end on not changing what has given them their satisfaction, that being griefing or harassing others in games like this.
Dallane you seem to think I am implying I do not want to have pvp in the game? Where did I say that? A full loot death system IS still pvp. Only difference is you cant perma kill the player. Honestly you are just looking to argue. I am not here for that. Point is and will be that IF they added a pvp server with full loot and no perma death I would bet you it would fill up and stay that way. AGAIN TO BE CLEAR FOR DALLANE, I am not saying remove pvp. In the end this is just banter, as the devs will do what they want too. Of course that does not mean it is right or will work. If it was my company I would want it to succeed, and right now this game is not.

I would put money on you being very wrong. Pvp isn't the problem with the game. It's as everyone even the devs have admitted that there is a severe lack of content with a very large grind.

To be far you have no idea if the company is succeeding, for all you know the PVP people spend most of the money that keeps this game running and even with paradox pulling out I haven't read anything from the devs about the game needing more money to keep from closing down.
