What the heck is up with this crazy darkness tree? Has anyone killed it yet? It's super aggressive and buried me upside down in the ground.

Working as intended. More incentive than ever to find a friend in Salem. If for no other reason than to tag team the finery forge process.

Do I need to train them the proper skills, or is "any" friend good enough?

You do indeed want skilled friends when working a finery forge.

Weight system.

I'm not entirely sure if the system works correctly. Here's and example
I have few dead rabbits in my inventory and total weight I carry is 20.70 kg. When I butcher the rabbit the weight I carry is 22.95.
So it turns out that by butchering rabbit I gain weight when in reality it should be quite opposite.
If raw Rabbit steak is 0.5 kg then by slicing it I have more items but same weight etc. I guess just because it adds a bone and skin it adds weight.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't believe that is correct.
