No, this sounds like some FPS where you simply 'respawn' with limited consequence from death and where players are engaging each other everywhere because the risk of loss is too light and the barrier of entry is so easy.

This is not PVP easy-mode. This is not a server where players will throw around their chars because they are easily rebuilt or kill other players because raiding is easily accomplished. There will be massive death and carnage being handed to those who are deserving of the reward that sweet death and carnage is. I have no intention of letting the new-age "Lightweight carebear raiders" under our reign have any taste of the glory of Salem Raiding. Players can learn to man up and raid as it was in the olden days, or get steamrolled(read cannon'd) over and over again as I suspect will happen to everybody in this thread who is "pretending" to have what it takes and want 'hard-mode' while simultaneously ***** it is in fact "too hard".

What in the holy #($* does buying skulls have to do with cannons

Darwoth and those of his breed are going to trainwreck the lot of you while you are busy 'pretending' that some lame system of alts is in any way a 'viable' way to survive in a harsh environment.

If you cannot succeed with a proper raid, you should not be playing the expeditions is kinda my point. I can already sense events with untouchable donuted tbc's, even with cannons that is still going to happen. Stuff like that should not happen on a ''PVP'' server.

Back in the days you could be summoned without a ***** warning, I can see that the current expeditions aren't even going to tip that. Sadly I expected something far more dangerous than that.

Don't get me wrong, I am just bringing stuff back from your first approach I do not care perse so much about the TBC's, the timers however is something I do value quite high.

You're just nitpicking, and taking things out of context REALISTICALLY, how would i kill someone without a skull to study first? I doubt anyone that actually grinds all that c&d for murder is going to kill someone with that toon just to have it tbced tomorrow, if theyre logged out, and i break theyre base if i dont have a skull for murder wtf am i gonna do light a cannon and hope they log on right when it shoots? So yes in order to efficiently murder on expeditions i'd need a skull to get the murder skull after blowing up their base thats what

Part of me thinks you are trying to be sarcastic. But yes, if darwoth is the ONLY player who will "have what it takes" then so be it. I could really care less if the rest of you lack the skills to compete in the systems I design so long as ONE player can rise above them then they are working as intended, they were not meant to cater to the masses in the first place.

I think that is the beauty of your game. People really can make a name for themselves by being bad ass, or the village doctor, and now even a bard. The possibility of being noticed for your efforts are much higher. Go play some other game and kill something hard and you are still one in a million. The witch that takes out the statues or even the small group of people who defend a statue for days on end will be noted for their efforts. That alone makes the game very interesting and competitive.
