i think the game has it's final count down at the next patch, gain everything again and more or be forgotten.
very exiting times :) but i fear that many will wandering off when no deadline for the patch/major update have been announced :-/

meh, it's been like this for months now. It's gotten as low as it can get without turning off the servers. I still meet new people everyday. A little advertising and a little good deving and it'll climb back. People keep forgetting that our top numbers were only around 250 or so on 3 servers. So about a 66% drop in numbers on Roa. Hopefully it hits Steam.

Well 250-300 after 3 would have made it 750-900 across 3 servers. It's down but not out hopefully.

Its definitely not going to get any better unless they open a new server and advertise the fact that they are doing so.

I've seen this happen on every server since closed beta. No amount of game updates will bring it out of this slump, the current worlds are doomed and everybody who thinks otherwise is delusional.

Asian girls are HOTT!

Postby Toorimakun » Tue Jun 18, 2013 5:23 am

right now the population is down and the game seems boring because farming was nerfed...

they did bring in tiered foods.... but still the problem with this is that after you tier up a field and harvest it the tier drops and you have to spam hey and/or humas on it all over again.

also the lack of knowing what food is best for what and there being a TON of possibility to search threw discourages the advrage player from researching them... with the purity system is was clear that you were making progress even if it wasn't the best food type.

then the other thing that discourages people from playing is that when their village/p-claim gets raided the raiders usually level damn near every thing.... it's not like they just steal your stuff and you have to get more or remake it.... they destroy the buildings, the chests (locked or not), sheds, kilns every thing... months of work completely gone in only minutes... nothing left to repair and continue on with... you have to start all over.
RIP: Purity, you will be missed.

Not minutes... And not a problem for those players who figured out the simple political landscape of their servers.

i have busted down a few building while i have played and seen the left overs of raided villages.... while the waist claim may take a bit to activate once it is active it isn't that hard for a 4-5 raiders to ripe down the whole village.

Can we use some actual numbers instead of guesstimates?

What are the humour levels of those 4-5 raiders?
How is the village protected, ie. what kinds of walls and how many, how many braziers?
What do you mean by "ripe down the whole village"?

And finally, when was the last time you have seen a village destroyed in this way?

Is +40 Braziers for a small claim just too much?

I don't think it's ever too much.
Now, whether it's not enough depends on what you understand by "a small claim".

It's also nice if you provide some extra protection for your braziers like hiding them inside walls.
