They show nothing but negativity towards Salem and are a bad first impression to new players. Moderators who are politically motivated and show bias such as these 3 should also not be in any position of power.
That is all.
Salem was a very well thought out name. Have you ever looked up the ACTUAL Lore of the Lumberwoods?Claeyt wrote:Please tell us as soon as possible if there is going to be a wipe, so that those of us who will no longer continue with Salem get fair warning. I can see myself coming back to Salem and Seatribe games in the future even if there is a wipe, but give us a month or two warning for any map or total wipes. If you surprise us with a wipe I will be greatly disappointed and avoid Seatribe games in general.
In HnH they expect a wipe for the next world, it's been part of the game forever and they know it's coming. In Salem, you and everybody else involved in the game have stated repeatedly that there will be no wipes so we are not expecting a wipe. In fact I'd say that the hardcore players left have continued playing Salem simply because we thought that there would be no wipe. You do not need a map wipe or a total wipe, selected wipes of broken gluttony mechanics could do the trick (hummus, seeds, worms, bins, character stat lowering). As for map wipes, maybe if you left the characters and the map in place but rebuilt the map as it was in pristine mode. I could live with that. I do not want to remap the world for myself.
I will do everything possible to help the game grow. All of us still playing need to do the same. I'll continue to post positive reviews on game sites, I'll tell friends, I'll help and be kind to every noob that starts playing, I'll keep playing.... as long as you keep this world you've created going. Please consider renaming the game "Haven and Hearth: A New World" or something like that and move systems from HnH over to Salem (Salem was a horrible name from the beginning). You need those 1500 Hearthlings over here, make Salem more like HnH, but 3-D.
Like I promised and I hope everybody else will do also, I will be buying a mystery box for this update and every update from now on. I'd also suggest a donate button somewhere that goes directly to you guys and not through the Paradox Cash store. Put it here on the forums somewhere.
Thanks for sticking with it.

All three of us are master masons and have cared about the direction of Salem since the very beginning. Being critical is not a bad thing.
