Worm containers have been sitting for 13-14 hours and they still haven't eaten anything. So how much do the worm's purity go up each time they eat something of higher purity than them?

If I understand correctly, you need to raise worm efficiency to 100% in order for the compost bin to produce humus of the worm's purity.

No, it will still be different depending on the purity of the planks/nails you used to build the compost bin.
Worms still only partially determine the final humus purity [even at 100% efficiency].

Okay, an honest assessment.
I love where this game is going, but getting there has become really painful.
The pressure to find the right ingredients in all the right elements is always playing on my mind, and making the simple enjoyment of the game much harder to retain.
I notice that I am a lot happier when doing stulf that has no purity implications (atm)
I havent farmed since the first patch, cos the medium seeds I had seem like they would be wasted on my fields now, and whereas someone joining the game later would have a real idea of what the results of this present series of quality updates would be, we dont, so do we go with it now? do we wait? I spent a lot of time last week filling my bins with specific element types only to find that it is now worthless. Its not that I dont want to play. Just, at the moment I am afraid to do something because next week it might turn out that what I spent all week doing is pointless. Some clearer indication of what will be changing and what is probably here to stay would be helpful.
And the worm thing, I know that people can misunderstand stuff, and that you cant explain every eventuality, but being too obtuse is not necessarily making it more interesting. Is it bugged? Do they eat once a day? Once a week? month? when jupiter aligns with mars?
TL:DR
In summary, theres a lot of things changing, and thats good, but understand how painful this process is to us at this end, and a reasurring word here and there wont go amiss!

Hmmm, that's certainly an interesting question. If worms do indeed only eat when jupiter aligns with mars .. then i believe they are hippy worms. More over, pagan worms. We can't have pagan worms dictating the purity of our compost. I bet even now they're singing in their tiny voices : "When the moon is in the seventh houuuuse, and Jupiter aligns with Maaaars. Then peace will guide the planeeeets, and love will steer the stars!" ~ Age of aquarius / Let the sunshine in - Hair (musical). So yeah, are these hippy worms waiting for the age of aquarius to start? :P

What I really didn't like in H&H was making steel.
It was darn frigging annoying to have to either set a RL alarm for when it was done, or make sure you had a village with sufficient timezone coverage to watch the darn steel crucibles.

What I loved about Salem, was that it had none of that ****.

Unfortunatly, with the addition of the pressure cooker, this nonsense has invaded Salem.

Thanks devs

My 19% pressure cooker was harmonized to 20% by the pressure cooker.

It is slightly unstable after that.

I just thought that it had become stable again after resting, but I looked at the wrong line.

Since 100% seeds are officialy off the table, maybe dragging 2 elemets to 50 is the only way to increase multiplier now. That would make cookers quite useful.
