splash is, what, like two years old? You want to look into brazier clustering behaviour if you still consider splash a new mechanic.
Splash is only a year and half old isn't it? January of 2012 if I remember right. Anyways, most people have zero experience with it unless they're trying to fix a wall.

I see a lot of pay-to-win comments but I don't think that's even necessary. If anything I think glass should be 400 silver and bottles 150 silver each. Without spiders it is still pretty darn easy to make silver. And if you're lazy just buy some from the store. Everyone probably has a hoard of silver which needs some spending, I know I did.
I think it's fine the way it is.
At the current costs newbies can skip a day of cooldown here and there and the longer time players can shorten their timers a bit. But at higher biles timers will easily be high enough to make cancelling them out entirely very, very expensive.
The problem is that the tribe will be buying thousands and thousands of panes of glass now to get those timers down. I haven't tried it yet but someone else posted that one lowered it 8 hours which seems like a lot. If that time is correct then a 200 stat guy could basically eliminate their gluttony timer with a couple of them and you'd be well over 400 before you're drinking 10 of them at a time.
The main problem I have with this mechanic is that it basically doesn't really help new players who won't be able to afford it, but it does help the no-lifers who want to push to 1000. The main group of people it helps I'll admit is the established town or person who loses a 400-500 stat guy but then wants to keep playing and push a 100-200 guy back up quick. Biddas will be buying and making thousands of these things to help them glutton past 500 while the rest of us won't bother.

Who? Those Russian guys? I thought they were all under 500.

We'll see, maybe it's a happy medium but I bet we see a 500 stat unkillable player by the end of September.
I will take this bet. Lets discuss terms.
If I'm right, and there is no 500 stat unkillable character by the end of September. You will agree to put on ANOTHER cursed article of clothing.
If you are right. I will remove your hat.
Do we have a deal?
I still haven't heard an answer to this bet you made Chief.
Is this the only way for me to get my main merchant from being permanently un-nerfed by you? If so I'll try and get a character or a friend's character up to 500 by the end of September. Do you really think nobody will get to 500 with the new mechanics?
