Dunno about bringing stuff from expedition, but about inheritance Yeah, its all in one JC sentence:
JohnCarver wrote:Praying to the Statue of Family will raise the inheritance bonus of your Pilgrim's Heir back to Providence by 5% Per Praying.

"back to Providence" means that You can inherit them in Providence.
"by 5% Per Praying." means that they stack - otherwise why its "per praying".
So Yeah Your calculation can be right, unless there will be some cap, or some rule that we dont know (like 5% of the stats that You have at the moment of praying) - we need to wait for JC to comment this.
Also i suppose such statue will be one of the most powerfull, so it will be attacked often. I assume, that guarding/keeping such statue for Yourself to use it each week will cause You die couple times, and whole plan is crashed -> for sure I doubt that more than 10 people will manage to achieve such goal to inherit 100%.

JC has said, multipul times, that ONLY the animals will be able to be transfered over. There may be a way for him to let people bring a few items back but his last post said there were some problems with that.

I think its is best to assume that no items will be able to return - with any player, witch or other wise.
Do not argue with idiots, for they will pull you down to their level, then beat you with experience.

What aren't you guys getting?

He said there will be one winner, who else could be the winner except the person who owns the tier 3 witch. he said that here:

JohnCarver wrote:No. Only one person can win the server. That is the person who ends the server.

He said that a tier 3 witch will end the server by praying at all 6 statues, there no other winning conditions so that's how you win I would assume.

I guess, maybe the person doesn't get to keep the character but he's said multiple times here that a person can inherit their character on Providence and that they're thinking about implementing some sort of limited item transfer, suitcase or something. He mentioned the suitcase idea and that the winner gets to keep their stuff somewhere, I'm sure.

The newest statue allows you to get 5% more per prayer session towards inheriting your biles and proficiencies after the expedition ends. That means with a basic Undertaker at 30% and 14 weeks of 1 prayer each to that new statue you could inherit 100% of your character back on Providence.

Let's just wait until the official post once the expedition launches, i'm sure everything about winning conditions and what not will be explained there. Besides noone really needs 100% inhetirance, the expedition might end before 14 weeks, and you are not counting the time it takes to discover the statue location and what if a strong faction takes over that statue and noone gets to use it?

There's already enough derail here for now. If you have questions regarding the matters that have gone on in the last 24 hours, please send a message to JohnCarver or TotalyMeow. Whether or not a public announcement is made on such decisions is up to administration.

I wonder if, instead of inheriting on Providence we would be able to inherit in the next expedition...
Inheriting on this expedition from a char on Providence will NOT be possible, right?

You cannot inherit a providence character to the expedition.

We don't intend to have inheritance available on future expeditions as they are always intended to be as even a starting ground as possible.

I would favor some decent animations, with much more actuall sieging rather than the cannon system you described which is way to basic to actually enjoy as far I can imagine.

Besides that, I do not think that the fire rate should be linear based, nor relying alone on the placers C&D. I am pretty sure it could work with a combined formula, so it would make sense to fire it with multiple people unlike firing it alone.

And I know that you cannot get this done within time before the release, I do very well. However the Expeditions are suposedly to be a huge thing, since the whole of Providence is based upon it now.

Every unique player who rubs the cannon reduces its delay, also depends on the rubbers C&D.

So basically 10 players with 250C&D would be able to almost instantly fire a cannon like a single player with 750C&D ?

Something like this you mean ?

Why nice, it seems it will be just favoring zerg fests.

No, not at all. It makes sense that firing a cannon alone should be very slow. There should be a maximum of 3 people operating each cannon, there should be some active events going on in order to keep it working. It shoudn't blast thru walls instant, more like a couple percent each cannon hit. The cannon hits would be much more often and during a siege the cannon operators won't be able to defend their cannon, they are busy with the cannon itself and very vulnerable to a counter attack. Besides that with an active event going on, they cannot multi-client.

Thats just some random B/S I named up, still making much more sense to me.
