No, it is Jordan Gramsey.

While I do feel inclined to start pumping out some adjustments, I believe there is some serious wisdom to sitting back and seeing how it plays out a bit. Concrete scenarios and stories where players failed or succeeded, and the exact reasons how or why they did so on a session would do a lot more than theory crafting.

I think the success of this patch depends on what JC's desired soft cap on biles is for an established player at 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, one year.

The two week & 1 month soft caps are interesting bc that's the likely crime alt of the future. And bc a one year established player will be able to glutton a new alt to higher biles in two weeks than a n00b.

I define soft cap as what your average player who semi intelligently gluttons each day reaches in that time.

Added Mini Update #1 to the OP.


*Players May now Compost Plucked Turkeys, Wild Turkeys & Plucked Argopelters
*Cabbage SeedStalks now produce cabbageseeds equivalent to the plenty on the field the stalk came from.
*Corn Husks are now any-plant
*Maple Tree Leaves Are no longer bugged and allow you to pick passed 2.
*Added 4 new Inspirationals.
*Fixed Maize Planting Typo.
*Fixed Typo on Adventurer Trailmix
*Fixed Typo with Roasted Crab Mean* Paginae
*Fixed Typo with Salt showing in Alchemy Skill Window
*Moved Red Bellpeppers restore from meat to Game meat.

Actually, your seed stalk can and will dry in amounts greater than 100 if you push the plenty hard enough.

But no, that won't break anything.

I must say I love the addition of new content, bug fixes and stuff, and I think the effort MM put on this update is worth of admiration, but there is some stuff I didn't like much:

"Hovels, Farmhouses, Townhouses, Brickhouses, Churches, Windmills, Braziers, Torchposts, Ore Smelters, Stampmills, Meatsmokers, Bread Ovens, Kilns, Presses and Turkey Coops must now be placed at least one tile away from other Structures just like Trees. No more walls made from odd things."

While I like the idea of not having farmhouse-walls, this somehow makes me wonder if making the soak/health values of the walls would work better and easier. If walls were more efficient maybe people wouldn't be building walls out of other (cheaper) stuff. This doesn't worry me because I had planned to make odd walls, but because new players may find they need bigger and bigger claims to fit the same stuff I have in my small condensed base.

Not sure if this is a change for the better. I mean giving extra points for getting more gluttony points concerns me way less than this. I think the gluttony system was very good and solid as it was, if you wanted to specialice in one "bile" you could, but it wasn't a smart thing to do since "specialization" anyways come from the skills you learn. So far it's not a big difference, but anything that helps the lowest of humours to get high might be used to balance characters that had one or few high biles (probably black), placing people that have been raising their characters in "the good old way" on a disadvantage. Which is something you are already aware of, surely, but stuff like this scares me.

Overall I think it's a good upgrade and I hope time will say my fears are just me being paranoid and picky. Keep up the good work and cheers.

But again, why not instead of just throwing out insults you say what you think would alleviate the problems to help the devs out. Would 3X be a good compromise? I don't know. None of my toons have had the luck to make it that far. Also end game content is light. There are many monsters that need to be added, witch craft, ect. that will mostly be in the late game player's realm.
