In all honesty why doesn't a house negate darkness drain? I mean being inside of one is as civilized as it gets.

Also i think someone reported that torches no longer offset the new darkness, witch is imho yet another bug in this update.

Since humour drain starts in Boston, all medium and new players are forced to make leanto's on the border of Boston.
Let's start counting skeletons.
I wonder how many people have lost their entire camp and proficiencies...

Quite unplayable.

But humor drain doesn't start in Boston?
Also the darkness KO's you, it doesn't kill you, so there should be no skeletons.

Because Jorb is addicted to the taste of our tears.

Don't think its a bug. I think its intentional. To be honest, they never did much to begin with even during closed beta. It just spares you from needing to use up a fire starter if you log out with a lit torch. I'm waiting for that convenience to be taken from us as well.

You're losing a dedicated gamer in Etherdrifter, Jorbtar. He wouldn't have dragged me and so many of his friends into this game if he didn't think it had some massive ground breaking living-world potential. Do us a favor and keep tweaking the darkness laws. Its a bit harsh to be essentially kicked out of our well invested claims, not by a griefer, but by a dev. At least spare us the house drain. Houses were invented to be a shelter and refuge from the wilderness, anyway. Its not as if it breaks realism code.

Any form of obtainable personalized darkness offset would be appreciated.

No, I was more aiming at raiders that can now just roam the outskirts of Boston and murder more people than usual.
Also, my humours were still dropping at a standard brightness of ~60... Boston is somewhere in 64, isnt it?

I just destroyed a stone wall and it did 82% damage to a plank wall that was actually touching it horizontally is this working as intended?

here is a quick diagram of how the walls were (S= stone, P=plank)

SSSSPPPP
--------------------
The bolded S is the stone wall I destroyed and the bold P is the plank wall that got damaged.
