Is it actually intended for the encumberance system to be so... hindering?
Imagine you leave your char gathering something... branches, coal, woodblocks, chippin stones... while you mind other buisness for a minute or two.
- As it used to be, the char would have a full inventory of the stuff you wanted, ready to use with 2 clicks for most of those things.
- AS it is now, the char would be filled to the top, unable to move, forcing you to drop some of the stuff manually before you can even move on.
- AND the backpack is not used by default.
I know JC does not care about those irrelevant details, but the gods of the custom clients might bless us with some pre-set-able values to tell our characters to stop at a good (preferrably customizable) percentage of our max carry capacity, and some option to chose if the backpack should be used first.
And this does not change the fact that, for the purpose of carrying stuff, pockets are now a nuisance instead of something useful, only good for porting with stuff on you, bad for everything else.
Besides from that, there are 3 questions that I'd like to ask:
1. How many levels are there in a mine now, maximum of 8?
2. is it really only of the 8th level, that a mine becomes vulnerable for intruders?
3. is there anything that can only be aquired on lvl x or deeper in a mine, or is it just propability and aether that gets better as you go deeper?
Need something?
