I was going to post a thread in there complaining about the cash shop....

honestly, that was about time too. The forums were officially moved here, and I doubt anyone spent any time looking at those old ones anymore. They must have been abandoned for almost two years now ?

It went down within an hour of SusanPdx's announcement here. Also for anybody that goes through their crap customer service I got this from their recently dropped customer service provider 'Digital River' when the cash store stopped working this weekend.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Unfortunately, we are unable to
assist you with this issue. Paradox Interactive now provides their own
customer service.

Weird... its back now

EDIT: And it is gone again... wtf?

I sent a PM to Susana on the Paradox forum hoping to get some help on the cash shop issue, and when I clicked the link to go back to the forum index I saw the Salem subforum under Upcoming Games back, I even clicked it and went into that section and saw all the threads. Then I posted here, went back and refreshed and it is gone again. :?:

Should the announcement on the topic list that? That sounds like it might help others if they are responding to that one.

Yep, it should. To their credit, the Sales email worked and they responded. Apparently Loftar is on the case about the Cash Store being down. I'm going to just hold on for now about it and hope they get it sorted. Out of curiosity has anyone got the store purchases to work?

If I had to guess, by the 2 stalls that have been without owner for over 12 hours now, I'd say no.

As an apparently elusive 'new' player to this game (though I have been around a while I have only ever poked at HnH and was not all that impressed ... feel free to burn my effigy for such a statement) I must say that it would be a great shame for it to roll over and die. Anyone who thinks HnH is better than this is clearly the type of Luddite who would believe that Black and White films were way cooler than colour and that the steam engine will never catch on. This is a vast improvement and it will attract a following given time and exposure. The more people hear the more they want to play and given that this is the only MMO out there doing things like perma death and hard-core crafting it will grow a following ... it is unique.

Fight the good fight and to all the doomsayers rolling over and screaming that he sky is falling ... take another shot of rum and steel yourselves ... otherwise get below and dont show your faces on the upper decks any more ... behave like Englishmen or be damned.

I just started the game about a month ago after seeing a facebook add. Is it true that you're getting rid of Roanoake? If so I'm bummed, I just started there... :(

Nobody important ever said that they are getting rid of the Roanoke server.

That being said I would still strongly consider moving to Plymouth. It is the first server and the server where every single Live-Stream event took place. It is also the server where the developers play so if your at all worried about it now would be the time to switch servers.
