H&H has movement combat, which lets a more skilled player win with a lower statted character.

then less than a month after a wipe or new server all of the current quitters and whiners will find themself at the bottom of the pile again and ***** about whatever latest "unfair" outrage there is when their 15 stat **** character gets killed before once again quitting.

i am currently producing 16% humus, as time goes on that level will increase. however i am confident that with crops in that purity range and enough tier 3 fields i could make a 400 - 500 stat character already, the mechanics exist in the game to be competitive, perhaps you retards should have spent the last two months working with them instead of throwing your hands in the air and giving up expecting a handout in the form of a wipe after people like myself do all the testing/discovering/handholding/guide writing for you.

on jamestown there are 3 different players with "titans" i am aware of, of those three i am the only one still playing and the other two are locked in their old towns ruins unable to log on without being killed, so if someone wants a "titan free" server all they need do is settle on jamestown, stay away from my general area and you are unlikely to ever see one.

You're forgetting the part where it says 'BETA' and everything is guaranteed to change, even rule-sets, and new boundaries. New worlds will most likely be created again soon™ when paradox run another marketing campaign to generate further revenue from the cash shop. No one is saying there will be a wipe, new worlds are a get out clause but then again have fun sticking to your guns and continue playing Jamestown all by yourself till the end! :)

pretty sure casuals didnt have "titans" before the farming nerf either.

before the purity nerf people that sunk enough time into the game could achieve high stat characters.

after the purity nerf people that sunk enough time into the game can still achieve high stat characters.

before and after the purity nerf people that hardly play wont achieve upper rung characters, like every other game ever made.

so realistically, the net change is zero. except that now the boards are flooded with chicken littles (half of whom quit months ago) that are ignorant to the game mechanics clamoring for a wipe because they got the itch to play again but want everyone else to have to start over to.

of course the above becomes entirely irrelevant as soon as someone starts putting high purity wood on a vendor stall, then it becomes a matter of the entire server having the capability just like before with high purity seeds.

this is not beta, you know it isn't and everyone else does to.

actual beta ended with a wipe, now we have "open commercial beta" in which there are supposed to be no wipes, which actually means "release without numerous core features and frequent patches that we will ***** several things up with for the first year"

the game will be considered "open commercial beta" for a long time to come because it is a convenient crutch to fall back on for both the developers and paradox.

actually i find the more twitchy salem combat far more skill based than haven combat, would be nice to attack on the move here however.

Actually everything you just said is correct but you fail to understand the difference in time.

IT WAS FASTER AND EASIER BEFORE THE PURITY PATCH. Catching up to the titans was never really an option but getting in reasonable high stats to fight them was not nearly as hard as it is now not to mention the amount of time it takes now.
If you fail to realise this then you are beyond help.

You saying it had zero impact shows how much of a moron you are. At the rate people are quitting or even halfassed awaiting another patch hoping the game would become something theyd wish to play whilst hoping to find another game instead you'll soon be playing with you, a couple russians and your own and their alts.

I wish youd get your head out of your arse and stop spreading misinformation wether it be your opinion or some ignorant facts you made up.How bout actually posting the truth about the game so devs might actually do something about it instead?

and here we have an example of what i am talking about.

"blurg glurg glurg HOLY ***** **** MAN IT WAS EASIER BEFORE HOW CAN YOU NOT SEE THAT!!!!"

uh, well not really. first they nerf purity, then they greatly boost tiered foods to offset that some and rebalance. (which if all you idiots weren't so busy ***** about tier 1 foods and mushrooms being less powerful than they were, might of realized that was to nerf the limited stocks of high purity food some folks had in reserve since almost all of it on every server is going to be tier1 food)

the amount of time required to make a 300 or so stat character from scratch is actually far less now, making 30 or so tier 3 fields and banging out low purity tier 3 food is a FAR faster method of statting up then it was to spend 2 months grinding seed purity for every crop first and it is a very humble goal that can be achieved in a week by both a powergamer, or a small collection of casuals in a village setting.

the REAL complaint is "waaah waaah i sat here doing nothing since i started playing but i just bought these 90% seeds some schmoe spent 2 months grinding and was ready to start ***** out fields, but now i have to actually play the game and make a few tiered fields instead ***** that *****"
