There are no shop axes, shovels, or pickaxes for that reason.

Yes it can. And it would be extremely foolish for somebody with an exe axe to chop anything while even a little bit insane.

If you are talking about questionable tools in general, then :

how about something like this:
You realized your situation is beyond remedy. Your madness increased because you did or experienced things that made you go insane. On higher madness levels you will hear voices frequently and have an increased chance to experience various psychic episodes up to the point where the madness becomes so overwhelming that you decide to set an end to your life. To prevent madness from increasing, try to exercise things that keep you sane on a regular basis and sleep in a bed instead of laying down on the cold ground. If you wish to get rid of your madness, you need stronger remedies, like smoking tobacco or cuddling your teddy bear while sleeping in your bed.

Idk if it is too long, I cannot look up the desease buff at the moment

The description doesn't make it clear enough that you actually accumulate insanity over time as well. As I pointed out earlier, AFK'ing is probably the biggest killer for beginners atm. Otherwise it's decent enough, particularly after some grammar-nazi touches. ¦]
