I'd like to agree with you, but I don't. Given the intentional lowering of humours in the "nerf," the projected values of humours decreased as well. However, and you know this but I'm guessing a large percentage of the population still doesn't, 100-150 humour characters are going to have one helluva time busting into even a scantily clad claim with brazier fire as it currently is. This isn't to mention that several of the strongest players are still cheating (myself included, though I'm nowhere near that list) by using pre-nerf food, humus, and seeds.

A wipe would have evened the playing field, restored game balance, allowed the devs to refocus their attentions on progressing the game while viewing it as it SHOULD be (by their adjusted design). And while I'm totally with you in not wanting my **** blown up, if it makes this game better, I'll light the fuse. Salem is in beta. You know that. I know that. The community should really know that by now. I can't say why there wasn't a wipe, but I think that we're seeing what happens when a game in beta of this nature tries to acquiesce to players in avoiding resets while updates are continually piled on.

This thread isn't about the wipe argument, though. Apologies for derail participation. Bon voyage, Paradox.

I guess the new player base that paradox attract(the Chief like an example) rape the butt of the h&h vets, making them quit and cry in the forums about how crap and unbalance is the game even when they dont play since long time ago, to make it harder for new players to continue playing after reading forum crap and ***** posible grow of the population.

the tiered food patch largely eliminated humor issues but everyone was to busy ***** to realize it, further tweaks of that magnitude would eliminate any issues entirely.

moving a decimal point over a notch on future produced food further nullifies any humors issues, so does going to a FEP system like haven has, so does deciding what "high end game" humors are and lowering existing characters to that level if it is indeed lower than current levels.

no reason to wipe at all other than for the purpose of condensing servers, and in that scenario existing characters should merely be transferred over.

If some servers are wiped to reduce cost, I just hope our characters can be saved and that people who spent money in the cash shop can keep the stuff they paid for.

Ugh... I really hope there is no wipe. The lack of wipes was one of the main reasons I played this game instead of H&H. :(

Very accurate assessment. However, the hnh vets were very much little league so its no a surprise how bad they got steamroled in a mainstream player base.

DarkenBane Company:
Not the Studio Salem Deserves.... But the Studio Salem needs right now.

Upcoming Patch Features (Should DarkenBane Company prevail):
#1: Upon finishing your tutorial @ the docks your character will be ported straight to The Reservation (Plymouth) or a small Cage Darwoth made (Jamestown).

#2: Roanoke will be shut down.

#3: Yourgrandmother will be named Moderator

#4: Alchemy pack will be placed on Salem Store (soon).

Ok, details aside. What would it cost to pay the devs salaries? Running of the server(s)? Office costs? Government taxes?
