all in like 15min of farming they should have much less slots then 4 and be harder to get (would work with harder survival chances)

then theres not much up there, how about allowing leantos? Polar Bears? Yetis? Snowstorms? 7-use-ice-inspirationals?

id like to see this as a complete new themepark around snow content.


I think the way to fix these capes is to give them -10 thermal and give them 3 slots. That would make it be a sort of everbloom only gear.

Is it possible that you linked Shellfish Trapping to unlock some older version of the fish traps, with older mechanics compared to new ones? I've been getting reports from a townie that the shellfish traps in their current form are eating less of the baits in the same amount of time. Basically would've eaten a trap clean in 8 hours and now are emptying perhaps half.

A bit intrigued by latest changes I decided to look again into the game. Turns out in my absence somebody claimed my former land, well, it happens. My char spawned in Providence completely naked, without leanto and for some reason very stressed, like 7 of 8, from the looks of it close to dying. Last time I logged out at stress level one or two. Now, new problem - hypothemia, and my char is naked. I quickly crafted what I could - jute set, which wasn't enough to stop freezing. Tooltip tells to get indoors. I guess it means to build leanto, anyway it's the only option I thought of. But till I got out of Providence and gathered all materials to build leanto, my char turned into shard of ice. Also on the road out of Providence I saw another couple frozen chars. I guess I should have tried to build a campfire, though I don't recall reading in patchnotes it helps against freezing.

I kind of feel devs did again some update without testing it and thinking of all consequences.

Wow, if you just added the bear to the story it would sound exactly as the script of 'The Revenant'.

If anyone is in need of a free 18-thermal Frontier Duster coat, add me on RevCoat

You can swap your pilgrim robe (if that's what's you're using) to the shirt slot from the coat slot and then you'll have 28 thermal. Bonus 12-thermal earmuffs for the first two people (one says 3 because an alt with a 3 in his named made them, but they're 12 thermal value).

Edit: Can also make some capes until I run out of hides.

Edit 2: My T&N is garbage, so these aren't for slotting, just so you don't freeze.

You could have tried talking to him. He was fully aware of the people around him. Zodd and I and another guy helped him get thawed out and dressed so he wouldn't freeze up again. He's new to the game and didn't want to lose his character so he stayed logged in. I hope he has fun.

I actually wanted to extort 1 million silver from the guy but he was broke. Well, ill luck out eventually.
