Yes, it is a stupid idea as braziers already cause rapid humor decay.

as much as i enjoy the game if there was a wipe at this juncture when it had been stated all along there were none planned after stupid amounts of time spent digging, building, grinding seed purity, building characters and so on it would be time for me to move on to something else.

Pots & Pans caps Dug-out, natural clay.

How? Not sure how proficiencies that increment in ones can cap percentages.

yep, even ****** camps with mediocre brazier coverage will shave off several humors.

by not having changed it in the first place

A wipe is probably not going to happen, and even I don't think that should happen. But my soft cap idea or something like that should happen, maybe at 200 humors, maybe 300. Right now tho, it's impossible for a dedicated player to put in the same amount of game time in as Darworth and reach his level. Especially if he's raiding their town with 400+ humors.

This update just made that even harder.

Sure Brazier's drain, but maybe they need to drain more, and the Chief's main just sit's at over 500 humors waiting for defense.

Its a good change, it should have been like this from the start really. I don't think everyone should be able to buy high purity seeds and be as capable in humoring up as those of us who spent months and months grinding our own seed purity. Now not only do you need seed purity but you also need infrastructure.

The only thing I'm not too fond of is how randomish and low purity from clay/lime seems. I guess we still have yet to fully explore but so far its all be 1/2% for me which will essentially cap farming purity very very low, then you will never catch up to us.

only difference is now there is an even wider gap, and those people buying high purity seeds will also be the ones buying high purity boards

Exactly, and on top of that, nobody's going to be selling high purity seeds for awhile. I was fine with the old mechanics for farming because I knew that if I dedicated myself I could reach 400, but this just added months to the time it would take me to get there.

All high humour characters who are good sports would be happy with a wipe since their characters are stunted and they will have no competition, if you want to continue owning people for years to come mabye you should do it in a game where it wont be so easy for you.

Right now i have no desire to play any of the current servers since they are effectively ruined if this system is to be permanent. Either make a new server to give all the newcomers/non super hardcore people a chance to catch up and lose darworth or don't and lose way more players in my point of view.
