Minipatch #1
*Events no longer spawn on either a town, pclaim, or the starting town.
*Tooltip for Scrimshaw pipe has been fixed.
*Players should no longer get spammed with their mining bonus when they are mining.
*Players may now put hats in their wardrobes.
*fix'd a bug that was causing pre-patch porcupine spines to be laced with drugs.
*Whale swimming Animation has been adjusted.

First off, let's look at what we're really talking about. This will only make it more difficult to get deeper into the mine, not to get more ore at the upper levels or anything that hurts the ability to get metal. It's only affecting how hard it may be to get to the Dreamworld or to get pure ore not how hard it is to get iron in general.

Pure ore only makes pure meat which still only gives 2x the value so I don't think this is game breaking or legacy gifting at all and that's coming from me, Claeyt... the guy who railed at Jorb and Loftar about legacy hummus Titans for a year last world.

It's a small nerf to mining and does affect new mines a bit but overall I think it probably is okay. If it's too much, they'll probably dial it down.

I hope that alleviates any worries from new players or mid level players. Just buy a pile of black tea from my stall for 5s per and put one in a copper pot and boil it up and drink it down. You'll be fine.

You say that pots now have a chance to return snails/caterpillars instead of the plant in the pot.What determines the chance of getting a bug instead of a plant? I actually like the feature, it allows me to get snails without having to go out to the local spider forest, kind of cut into my onion harvest though.

Right now its just random determination. And yes I figured this was a nice way to get some bugs for the bug food group without having to break what you are doing and go out and forage them.

How long until we can get a Sack full of snails and caterpillars? That'd be an interesting Mortar ammo.
