[Forum] Allow players to create polls in ideas & innovations

I'd like to post a poll about gluttony, but realized that I cannot create polls. Hence I'd like to suggest allowing us to make polls as they are a useful way of getting an opinion out of a larger number of players who may not otherwise state their opinion. It also allows for an easier overview of what people actually think about a subject. Ultimately, I think it would be useful for our developers to quickly see who thinks what.

Kind of pointless considered the mechanic is under a major rewrite, isn't it?

Otherwise, I thought players could make polls. We've had a couple less than serious "polling" posts. If nothing else, a mod can set it up for you if you include everything in your initial post.

It's not pointless because it's to help with that rewrite.

As it should be, if this were a democracy then we'd be playing wow.

While player input and ideas are invaluable, it is incredibly damaging for a game to be influenced before it has a solid core to develop. That core is currently being rewritten and it is important for that to be finished before the devs open their ears fully again.

Otherwise the devs do listen and they do hear the problems, it's just that solutions aren't always easy. =)
