[Forum/Website] "Remember me"

Title says it all. It's quite bothersome to check my bookmark and see all boards clean of un-read posts and later realize you were logged off.

I know this is probably on the works, but it's just a little request.

I don't get it. How, do you mean, would this "remember me" function differ from the bookmark function?

I think the idea is to have a cookie so that a person is logged in as soon as the site is opened. I was surprised when this wasn't an option on the HnH forums. However, I didn't really have an issue with it when I found out I didn't get logged out and could close the tab or the browser and open it back up later and still be logged in. I'm not so security crazy for this to bother me. It's optional with most sites.

Um, this is normally the case. Do you find that it is not?

I don't have issues with it that I can tell on HnH unless the server the forum is on has been reset. I've not had enough experience with the new site, but I haven't been logged out yet. Maybe OP doesn't allow cookies or there is another issue that the server doesn't recognize the user?

It also logs me out anytime that I close by browser, I accept all cookies so I dunno.

My browser remembers password and account name, but I do not get automatically logged in. Thanks for pointing this out, I will put it on the huge list of things that need to be implemented ;)
I never managed to figure out something clever for my signature on Paradoxplaza, and I doubt I'll do it here either.

I have cookies allowed, if that's important info. I just find that when I open the forums, most times I'm not logged in. It's not about security, more likely about convenience.

Hmm, looking in Chromium's cookie inspector, it has indeed flagged the cookies as expiring on session expiration, so something is obviously wrong. I'll try to look into it.

The above mentioned problem should now be fixed.
