Frogs and chiping stones

I've been thinking about frogs. The only things you can do with them are so hard to actually do like lighting a fire only to make chared milkweed. so my suggestion is that frogs could be roastable so you can have a use of them and also make a good source of food. But the frogs should only get like 3.0 of each humour. Also new recipes for frogs should be added like stuffed frog and stuff like that.

Another idea: I'm having huge phelgm problems when paving since you need 0.5 phelgm to chip a stone and 0.5 phelgm to pave a tile. So i've been thinking about a flint pickaxe which you could use to chip stones faster and less phelgm draining.

Yes! Let us offer frogs to the glory of our ancestors! True, frogs don't currently have much use aside from the froghetti and the mini circus inspirational (which IS nice for natphil early on). Also, they are pretty fun to unleash when you have a small base, and are being attacked by raiders. You'll make their life hell with a couple 100 of frogs/crabs unleashed in small confines.

Don't we already have a pickaxe? Last time I checked, we did. Although I do concur on the ridiculous phlegm drain on large amounts of paving :(

we need to use those bad frogs... crabs are for YB but frogs are TOO TOO much hard to cook

doesn't worth the effort

The paving draining phelgm is with starting characters you know when you have like 7 phelgm then it makes a problem. Not everyone has a mine and a smelter and the skills to mine and make iron so for weaker players a flint or stone pickaxe would be good.

The whole point of requiring iron for the pickaxe lies in NOT making it available to everyone. Else what is the point in having it in the first place? If that gets implemented, I assume it will be to make the stone pickaxe a necessity for chipping, and making the metal one speed it up (like the relationship between stone-metal axe or wooden-metal shovel).

Frogsketti or however its spelt is a good food for newbies, I agree that that, and the menagerie are the only uses for frogs but there are a lot more important things for them to be adding more uses for, like tier 3 crops and eggs. The simple things aren't really valuable so IMO they don't need more recipes. And that takes me onto the next point, like Kandarim says, the Pickaxe is for faster chipping of stones, and the only thing you really need to pave for is a bread oven, and that only needs 9 stones, maybe 16 if you want it off centre so its easier to place. I think unless axes start being allowed as weapons there is no point in 3 levels of them.

Not to mention digging too, now that it has it's own minimap texture.
