So today I tried to hunt a deer for the first time and when i hit it with a slingshot i thought it would run away and i could folow it and then hit it again until it dies but instead it ran at me and killed me in 2 seconds
I think you should make animals such as rabbit and deer and cricket run away when attacked. They should also be very afraid of people so you couldn't walk 5 meters near it and shot it with a musket or slingshot or something instead they should hear you on like 20 meters. Also sneaking ability should be added so animasl can spot you only when you are very near.Hope you put these suggestions in game! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Animals do run away from you until you get in combat with them. Having them run away after being in combat wouldn't be fun at all.

a male deer defending its Territory would be super aggressive.

Watch out for them charges.

Those things don't ***** around if you get close enough to one. I wish i had the link to the vid of the guy putting on deer piss and getting his ass kicked by one.

Wouldn't be fun but it would be reallistic

So you are saying this game is realistic?

Bucks will charge you IRL btw depending on the situation.

From my experience, when you provoke any animal with horns, you'll get a chase where you are always the lead runner.

Apparently nobody got me my point is that animals run away when attacked not defend them selves but deer does defend it self but maybe a female deer should be added. also timber ratllers should be inaggresive like beavers and rabbits.

No need to add a femal deer. Learn how to hunt them and its not a problem.
