I believe I am not the only one who finds the most exciting part of the game is the initial exploration and development from scratch. I feel like the older the server is the more boring and tedious it becomes - finding signs of habitation just about everywhere you go and everyone running around with 300+ humors and all seeds near max purity.

I would love to see a server which regularly gets wiped, say every 6 months perhaps? Time period up in the air but as long as there is a fixed time period of some sort.

Could even have a final report on wipe where all the inhabitants are ranked by stats such as hours played, humors achieved, proficiencies achieved, amount of land claimed, etc... for bragging rights

Then next day we all (the population of just this server I mean) start over again

Asking for a ladder server? I like it, maybe make a fourth server, because unexpected wipe will lower the already low)ish population.

not going to happen. All servers will also one day be linked and we will be able to travel between them.

i dont see why 3 servers can be linked with a 4th wiped, or just move all 4th server characters to one of the other servers upon the wipe

Organize a competition where players honestly do everything from scratch and for example fight for the last man standing as they reach the needed skills.

i kinda liked this idea.. i dont get why most of the people on this forum are always being b*tch to ppl with ideas? he didnt whine about perma death or anything.. he just shared an idea, which he can and should because there is a part about it on forum called "Ideas & Innovations". If this topic is for trolling ideas, change its name.. Most of the people who writes here are trying to maybe help salem to get at a better point.. His idea may suck but instead of discouraging try doing something for the game.. stop this troll.. you are probably having fun with being troll but this wont improve anything..

First of all I didn't see anyone get rude with him. They are just stating their opinions in their ways. Second, it's been suggested.

Personally I hate wipes. Having a particular server that gets wiped frequently, while others don't, may be okay. That way people have a choice (To be or not to be wiped). If there is a BIG change that would require a wipe, like purity/water/new biome/etc, then we may need to get wiped.
