Town Market System

Hi,
I'm playing on Jamestown and I couldn't check forum well enough if this type of a thread was posted before but I want to discuss the situation of Player Market Booths. For last 2 weeks I have been playing actively and I'm so pissed off with trade issues. I tried using the channel to trade but failed. In the end I found few people to trade and did but I want to mention my thoughts and ideas about booths.

I think its broken. Why? Because it's not working properly.

What and why I mean is:
- There are booths(2) which have been empty for 2 weeks (As far as I've seen and checked),
- There are booths(6) which have items but no prices on them (Why? Whom are you showing off to? Also as far as I've seen and checked),
- There are booths which have items with prices and items "without prices". (Why without prices?)

Anyway, if you'll say that as long as they pay, you can't judge them, they block other players and newcomers as well. Maybe the guy was so rich stocked so high amounts of silver and he didnt log in for a decade whats the point of letting him have the booth.

Idea: Can't it be like an AH where people can place their items that they want to sell for a period of time depending on the cost of it to be shown and pay a rent for the specific item they place it even if its sold or not? By this way many other players can use the booths to sell as well with the discount of renting cost. On the other hand, this renting cost would be a silver sink which is the benefit of the game as well am I wrong?

At the moment, the booths are silver sink but they are totally locked by the first-comers and nearly impossible to get..

Another idea: Maybe it can be like another scroll bought by the player for a new booth, so server places a booth for the player, if-when the time of it ends, the booth disappeares until somebody else buys new scroll to build a new booth to that spot. Maybe spots of booths can be figured or capped at 50 (just a number). ATM its too low.

Anyways these were my ideas, thank you even if you readed until here and disagree :P

5k initial investment, 300 silver a week and 15% of everything you make (which if you have a high traffic stall during a spurt of activity can work out to several thousand silver) is a more than ample tradeoff for having a stall, which is why people like yourself and procne missed the boat on getting one twice.
