Thoughts on Player Stalls

200 items is fine... if you're selling high ticket items. Some items people need a LOT of like coal, bricks etc. In this case 200 items is not enough.

Stalls should be account-wide, meaning all characters on the whole account should be able to access the stall. Otherwise we should be able to set permissions.

One good thing I have noticed is low priced items do not have to pay tax. It would suck to have to pay 1s taxes on a 3s item, so good job there.

It would be nice if we could put a name on the stalls that people can see when they walk by.

It would also be nice to be able to sell carried items (logs, boulders, sleds, anvils, etc), but that would mean we would need to be able to tp to Boston carrying things (and I am wondering why this isn't allowed). Most of our big ticket items as of right now are all carried - why can't we sell these in boston?

I would *like* to be able to manage my store without having to tp to boston, it sucks to have to go back and forth 1000 times to drop things in it.

So, what you are saying, is you need more room for your personal storage? Just asking, cuz I constantly see stuff on your stall with no sale price.

Yes, they should change it and make default price 0, so using stall as storage would be impossible:)
Yet it is idea or more a need for another silver consuming feature in Salem... make rentable storages.

Hmm... I might pay $5 a month to have a "bank" of sorts I can keep certain, hard to replace items in.... but that's another subject ;)

I haven't tried using a stall yet myself. From what I'm reading here, you could use the stall for a very large capacity storage if you were to set prices ridiculously high, anyway.

"Naming," as I'll point out again, would be pointless and impractical. What good is that going to do you when names aren't unique? Besides, how do you reconcile it with the current system of anonymity? edit: unless you mean give it a name like "Friendly Grocer 666", then yeah, +1 for that. :D

100% secure universal bank access is what I thought of too.

Which totally kills a big part of the risk in this game. -1 on this suggestion from my side. Gives me less things to stea-- borrow from people in-game.

Well, alt chars already do that anyway. And without costs.

Why not just have an account bank anyways? People are like you said just going to create alts anyway. So why not just make it easier to access items between characters (bank/warehouse) much like seatribes opinion on botting. You can't prevent it but you can make it worthwhile to discourage people from doin it.

Might be true, would like to see input from jorb on this.

Anyway, regarding stands, what about having upgradeable ones? Something like
2 items -- down payment 2500 - rent 200
Paying 1000 upgrade it to the "second level" and also raise the rent, so we would have something like
4 items -- (total) down payment 3500 - rent 250
And paying 1500 you get a third level that is like the current stands.
This could also apply for the number of items of the same type.Base limit 200, then you increase the limit of a single slot by paying a certain sum.
