Yes it is a goof thing, but the searchbox shows you the available sites after typing a letter. But it shows only around 10 results.
So too many misspelled sites could take over the whole nice feature.

The wiki don't know the correct spelling of game items.
It searches over all available sites.
If i type "Pine" in searchbox it shows me: Pine Nut, Pine Nuts, Pine tree, Pinecone
You see, also Pine tree is a wrong typo because it should be Pine Tree.
Some Sites have wrong typo in reason of wrong input on adding a site by a user or in correction of item-name in later patches by devs.
Moving a whole site to the correct name is only allowed by administrators i think, so that the most user simply add a new site with correct typo and redirect the old wrong typo to this site.
Some of them i have deleted through the time. Some of them i have moved to the right typo, in some of them i have insert a redirection.
Thats a wiki and if nobody report such wrong typos, they will be stay in wiki.
Btw. most time if i delete a "wrong typo" site i look to the "links to this site", so that i can correcting maybe wrong links in other sites.
