Server semi-PVP

Hi folks,

First let me say that i'm not a veteran. I started to play this game for about 1-2 weeks.
I like it so far, except the "no tutorial". You really need to work on this but I'm not going to talk about this issue in this post.
This is only my opinion. Ok here we go :)

I know this game is a PVP game but I think the devs should add a server where it will be Semi-PVP. By "Semi-PVP" I meant where you could develop your character/building without to worry about other players (PVE). After reaching a "level" (Skills), PVP mode will be activated. Something you must do before acquiring new skills. You could still have a option in game to enable it before if you want. That way, new player will be protected. People who still want to have a full PVP game like now could use a PVP server and others who want to archive something could use this "semi-pvp". To be one-shot killed by high end player when you start to be someone is really a "game quit" for a lot of people.

What do you think?

Not happening, more alt abuse, boston is safe zone if you don't be dumb, etc etc

If alt is so abuse, the devs could easily put a limitation. Also why would people abuse it more than now? Right now, because of this "no protection", you could just put everything on a alt and never use him except when you need to. That's really dumb. I think it will be the opposite, less alt and more fun.

Some people feel the same like the DEV's said in the past they don't want you to get attach to your character, but treat it as tool for the game. You get murder in game, you lost all your skills and humors. Big deal make a new character go inherit your settlement stone and start out building your skills and humors. This whats make Salem unique and almost hard core. This weeds at little kids and younger people that get to involved into there character.( I Do NOT Mean Dis anyone and please don't take to heart and i am not trolling either) Please understand Salem stands out above other Multi-Player Online games.
Just have fun fear unknown people and just have a good time in Salem...

Like my mom said "If cant stand the heat get out of the kitchen".

I would support making the death penalty less harsh, say your reincarnate has 50% of your characters profficiencies and biles. That would soften the blow abit. I still think it would be meaningful.

That wouldn't be real permadeath, though.

It just will not happen, it's been asked for many times in Haven also but it's just not what the devs believe in and goes against Seatribe's whole policy.
