Why you dont add at the mayor office a new tab that give player chance to change his avatar name for a fee?

you can already change your name ingame under "Presentation Name" for yourself and your Kins



but the name that you pick for your Character at the Beginning cant be changed for various internal reasons like ownership of items, claims, clothings etc.. (as per JC)

If it's a technical limitation that you can't change the "true name" of your character, then it's bad design.

On another note, it would not make sense to let people change their "true name".
You can already change the presentation name...
