Town Rename Papers

Postby Rele » Fri Jun 01, 2018 6:27 am

Recently made a new town but I ***** up the name. Since there is currently no way of changing the name of the town without completely destroying the town and all border stones tied to it, I am making the request of a store item that allows for the renaming of a town via right clicking the "Papers of Correction" onto a town bell.

Could look something like this Image (ye ye took me 12 hours of non-paid unofficial dev time to make this graphic please like and subscribe)
Should cost around $1 or $5

Alternatively could be sold by Benjamin Bryberry for some silver (half of Town Charter) or even from His Majesty for some IOU's

Thats it ok bye #saslemcrewforever

I'd disagree, having to either stick with a wrong name, or a name you don't like anymore,
or replacing the bell and all boundries, that sounds much like salem, there should not be easy way out.

+ 5 on the idea.
The game's store does need more items for sale IMO (a lot more).
Meaning, I'd like to see this feature as an option in the game too.

But, there is a reason that I do not see it happening, it's because of the game's archaic coding.
A Town's name reaches far more mechanics in the game than just a display name, so it will take a lot of work and many days of trials n errors to implement it.
