Stockbins...

wouldn't it be easy just to add more to the menu of what stockbins can hold?
Suggestions :- Salt - tinder - branches - wooden blocks …..

Devs don't want to spoil us too much.
Also everything you mentioned, except salt, does not need a storage. Branches on trees are endless and you just need to keep your logs not chopped for wooden blocks and chops.

As far as I know, there are plans to rework salt in the future to make it "liquid", similar to sugar or seeds.

Having salt go into stockbins would be a much easier way to solve the 'salt problem'. Just add it to the list of items and do a cute little heap of salt picture and there ya go. That's time for the devs saved to look into things like grenades, milliguns and tanks.

nearly everything can be seen as endless. Go and clonk a stone for stone. Go and kill an animal for skins and so on. The stockbin idea enables to do those things in bulk and have somewhere to put them. If I want to make something it's nice to have the stuff on hand, instead of having to go chopping this and stripping that.

A woodblock rack or something would be nice.

JC said recently that we will eventually be able to stack salt or be able to put salt into stock bins, he said something about the code for salt currently prevents it.

He also said that wood choppings/tinder will definitely not be allowed in stock bins.

Blocks would be nice, I agree.
