Greetings,
Just a small idea I had after a severe stalking by a cougar. Make a cool safe spot at the homestead when you revive/teleport in. A cougar stayed at my place and kept attacking and reattaching. I finally kept trying to run from my homestead to draw the cougar out, However it took many many attempts to succeed.

Just make a claim, animals don't spawn on those, also walls are nice

You could enter a mine

Or just dont pull the cougar to your homestead

Yes. You just can't enter houses during combat, not <things>.

Have a claim and fence. I do not know if it wondered in or spawned. I did get creative with a gate though.
