I think need little talking about Meat ( Domesticated Meats ) group food.
Why ? because, player need spending a lot time for care this animals - i can said need each day "look/check" barn... for cure/feed/play/treat... remove animals etc.

but what player got ?
artifacts ? rary items ? - yes, but isn't often think it's realy rare...
only often its Testicles :P for drugs

I thining about possible two variants.


Variants A)
Change recipes like

Cooked Suckling Pig
good, gobbled 150-300 points, 02:00 F&F
bad,
1) got Raw Suckling Pig it's pain
2) -100%:100% - with 150-300 character isn't bad - but got Raw Suckling Pig... made this food usless - i will not killing pigglets for this and got madness :(

idea fix, got Raw Suckling Pig each time from pigglet, why not ? still need many restore food... so for me it's ok

Loin Roast
good, really easy recipe, and good food for low biles character
bad, -20%:40%, rly many players scared about hunting in darkness... and not easy got candy... so made -20%:40% usless food...
idea fix, ofc. reduce %:%, like -1%:40% ? or -15%:15% ?

Meatballs on Noodles
good, really easy recipe, and good food for middle biles character
bad, it is not difficult than Loin Roast, here give more points... but here still -20%:40
idea fix, -5%:20% or -10%:20%

Meatloaf
good, it's perfect food if somebody not care F&F...
bad, JC you said you not happy about players not made gluttony session - this food remove chance got progress (its food for lanzy people)
idea fix, Meatballs on Noodles or Meatloaf it's almost same only F&F + -%:% ... no idea about fix - remove it :F

Popham Party
good, look good food...
bad, materials...
idea fix, dont care about this recipe :P remove it!

Sausage Links
good, for heal food
bad, this food made - many player propably care only about pigs ...
idea fix, no need

Scary Strpgampff
good, only this good food
bad, ofc. Spooky Redcap but it's still ok...
idea fix, nothing


Sizzling Stirfry
good, ok...
bad, little pain about materials
idea fix, only little pain about Baby Corn


Slow Roast
good, 61% pure 100-112 gobbled points isn't bad
bad, time bake in stove and -20%:40% ... no thx
idea fix, ofc. change -20%:40% and time bake


Tasty Taco
good, isn't bad food, it's one easy food what can made universal food...
bad, -20%:40% always! and 4 types materials (meat, farm, farm, gardering) so much
idea fix, ofc. about -20%:40%


Variants B)
add into Garlic Braid effect restore Meat group....
or other possible restore except Agropelt Eggs/Candy

NOW, can leave:
- Sausage Links
- Scary Stroganoff
- Sizzling Stirfry
and
- Meatloaf
- Tasty Taco

other recipe remove it for me :P

i would say buff candy % chance to 85% instead of 50% its time consuming to make pinatas.
onto dom meats adding a restore to garlic braid is way 2 easy. with the addition of grapes i would say change curious grapes to 30%/100% restore of dom meat and increase the drop rate for them. or just make jalapenos restore them since they are supposed to restore everything.

but why not ? why one grounp have easy restore recipe ? and other have hardcore ?

I think people will made gluttony seassons... but made "restore" foods it's problem :)

The issue is the way foods interact vs the way foods were hoped to interact before. I think the idea was that a variety of food types be more beneficial than the same amount of the same food type. But past the first few bites of food that spare you the need for a restore, you then have to suffer a food group with horrible restore options versus a bland diet of an easily restorable group. Arguably the modifiers of the harder to restore foods could be higher as well of the foods themselves being a bit better, but that is not the case at the moment.

Well, we do get nice things from animals apart from rares.
We get lard, bones. Hides count too, if you don't feel like hunting. These things are essential for defense and other things.
Milk, wool and poop are great.
Also cheese.
Cheese is not "bad material". But it of course needs (and is going to get) more love and recipes.
You can not say that having animals is not rewarding.

I can only agree that this food group needs a restore which doesn't depend on luck. Even if it is more difficult to get/craft than other food groups restores, that would be fair considering high points it has.
