what if it's actually kind of cheap to build, and people build them in offensive battles such as a tbc or tbf

Yeah, the astronomy tower should be loaded with shooting star flowers as fuel. Makes more sense imo.

So it makes the air smell nice; no actual defensive properties.

Having interesting new buildings is one thing, not saying that I like or dislike this one.

But how would it fit into Salem? That is the foremost important question you should ask, otherwise we'd have lightsabers and tommy guns... and power armor!!! (love power armor :3 )
